Uff - What a day!!
I told myself 'don't get upset with people or situations. They are powerless without your reactions'.
As if i didn't have enough on hand, Wickram Butt's 'Haunted' came to see me. Didn't the pervert have a different name to call the ghost - the wickedram should consider himself lucky he got away with such a mean act. Not to speak of the subtle attempts at voyeurism. Where is that superhuman third umpire i described some pages ago!!

Vikram has conveniently inherited the pervertness from his father and what else can we expect from him? IMO, most of the Bollywood movies are crap. Too much of hype with hardly any content. We hardly get to see movies like 3 idiots and Munnabai.
Wickram ek bedhaal !
Hahahahh - i can understand your frustrations.
I would beg to differ - like any other language, Hindi also has its good productions and the new talent is quite good and refreshing. Maybe, like me you may also to get to watch all movies (or i could be wrong to presume so).
I think horror movie is just not for us - it is a Hollywood preserve. For us a horror movie means darkness/shrill shrieks/jarring music and lots of perversity.
The music of Haunted was really good (i mean the re-recording).
correcting a typo:
I meant 'Maybe, like me you may also not get to watch all movies'
RKG - I am trying to count the new talents in Hindi but my memory fails to help me out. IMO, we hardly get to see nowadays actors like Nana Patekar, Paresh Rawal, Tabu...
I think some of the movies in tamizh has taken horror movies to a different level altogether. Eeram and Yaavarum Nalam (13 B in Hindi)
Eeram created the eerie atmosphere and stillness against the continuous beating of the rain and creating the desired impact necessary for a horror movie with no horror props.
YN - is a film that keeps you glued to your seat for most part of its running time. The interesting this is the movie is of devoid of blood, gore and white-sari ghosts. Inspite of this the director effectively pulled off a spine-chilling horror, a la Hollywood, but which is still new here
GK - thanks again
Yes we dont have anyone of the Nana class
And thanks for suggesting two titles in the horror genre - my daughter these days likes them - so i will buy these
12B - wasnt it a Tamil movie a decade ago by Shyam?
12B in Tamizh is a movie by Late. Jeeva and I am referring to the horror flick 13B (with Madhavan in the lead role). Sorry for the typos in my earlier post. Interesting to note that your taarinie's interest for horror movies !
