I wouldn't join the mass and criticize Dhoni and his 'boys' for this debacle. It happens. Accidents do happen even in the best regulated families. It would be foolish to sack en-masse key players like Dhoni. Rarely we see a collective failure on a sustained basis. This was one.
Let's forget this (and if required the one-day series ahead too) and look forward. I wouldn't be surprised if the team has to rush back to support a grand revolution that is taking place on home soil.
