Growing Older

As someone very aptly said, Growing Older is Mandatory and Growing Up is Optional.

And there is a huge difference between growing older and growing up. Time decay ensures the former and our outlook in life decides the latter.

Today is one of those days in life that i approach with a shyness that has been consistent all through. To be made to feel a bit special, to be tolerated, to be condoned and forgiven for all my eccentricities and peculiar mood swings, to be showered with  wishes and gifts and made to feel like a kid at heart - life has its very special ways of making us glorious. But i try to shy away from these and prefer that elusive corner to be happy with my thoughts and my dearest ones. I have never been able to do that though.

I have always been trying to grow up by finding opportunities in change. I consider it Almighty's blessings that has kept me where i am.

My apologies to everyone that suffered because of my actions or inactions and gratitude to all others not covered in the former category. Life is beautiful.
