It was a three-decade old dream that got fulfilled.
Movies like Hatari and African Safari kindled a rare desire in me to experience the wild. And in the process of realising that dream, i went through a memorable experience.
Also managed to film a real lion-hunting event. Will post that soon. Until then, pls click to see what i saw.
Viewing in 'slideshow' mode would give better results.

Whatta beauty !
Breathtaking pictures. I am sure it must have been a great adventure.
Surprising that you managed to spot a leapord. I remember watching a documentary in NG channel that it is really difficult to spot a leapord especially during day time.
Great to see so many species in this wonderful land and it must have been a lifetime experience for you all.
I also read that many species in this part of the world are threatened by poaching and habitat destruction. Is that true?
You have beautifully captured the pictures with filters and well-managed shutter speed at appropriate places. I see a great photographer in you !
Thanks for the share !
You made my day!!
Am just a beginner (just before we started i bought a Dummies series to understand the basics better). And the rest of the credit goes to the camera (it is a fool-proof: even if a fool clicks he cannot normally go wrong)
Not sure GK about the poaching - but someone who has been a regular to the forests and safaris said that he used to see more elephants those days.
The best part of this visit is that we happened to see a particular specie of animal - wild beasts - that migrate to Maasai and the number is a whopping 4 million.
Thanks for your comments - they are quite encouraging (to this budding photographer)
